About Me
As a young boy, fishing from the Portsea and Sorrento piers along the Mornington Peninsula coastline was a regular occurrence during the school holidays. My love for fishing grew and many years later now find it much more than a hobby, but a lifestyle.
I have worked in various roles in the IT Industry before becoming a Retail Manager for a large supermarket chain.
These days, I work full time at Tackle World Cranbourne amongst photographing fish and fishing throughout Australia and around the world.
I have been fortunate enough to have been a special guest on Channel TEN’s IFISH with Tackle World and Channel 31′s fishing television program’s Fishin’ Trip, That’s Fishing and Youfish TV. A past co-host of the 97.7fm 3SER radio program “The Fishing Show”, I was also a weekly fishing reporter on 3AW but took a backstep from radio to fulfil my passion for print media.
I have contributed countless magazine articles for Victorian Fishing Monthly, South East and West Fishing, Bream, Barra and Bass, Country to Coast Journal, Go-Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Australia, Fishing Tips and Techniques, TrailerBoat Fisherman, Fishing World, Photofish and NAFA.
I have co-written “The Western Port and Phillip Island Land Based Fishing Guide” and re-written the updated version and “The Western Port, Phillip Island and surrounding ocean beaches Land Based Fishing Guide along with editing “The South Coast New South Wales Land Based Fishing Guide”. WOW, that’s a mouthful.
